Synopsis for No Regrets

Anthony Wheeler is no different from thousands of poor children growing up in his Bronx housing project. Being raised by a single mother, as are his two bests friends Dev and Slick; life for them is as normal as it can be in a housing project under the cloud of violence, drugs and constant murders. One day when Anthony goes to visit a relative, he stumbles onto something that changes his life forever. He is intoxicated by the dreamlike lure of fast money and immediate success that the underworld and drug trafficking has to offer.

He plunges head-on into it and spirals downward, to the commission of a crime that could land him in jail for the remainder of his life. Like many of his mates, being in prison forces Anthony to have second thoughts about the path he has chosen, once the doors clang shut behind him. But, unlike the others, instead of this revelation coming over time, Anthony's metamorphosis happens almost immediately after he is incarcerated. He says he has "No Regrets," but there is a distinctive plaintiveness in the voice echoing in his head about the path he has chosen. He seeks redemption by saying over and over to himself, "Only God can judge me."

Antoine 'Inch' Thomas speaks clearly in this ghetto tale of No Regrets.
